Scope of Application

DZ15LE series leakage circuit breaker is suitable for circuit of AC 50Hz, rated working voltage 380V and rated current 1OOA,to make in direct contact protection to the human being,also to prevent fire accident caused by ground fault current due to the damage of insulation of equipment. In addition, it not only can protect the circuit and motor against overload and short circuit, but also can be used to switch the circuit and start the motor infrequently
The products are in conformity with such standards as GB6829,GB14048.2,IEC60755 and IEC60947

Applicable Operation Environment

◆ Altitude ≤2000 meters
◆ Ambient temperature: -5℃~+40℃. The average temperature per day should less than 35 degrees Celsius

◆ The air relative humidity is less than 50% at the highest +40℃ at installation site. Higher RH is allowed at lower temperature. Like the RH can reach to 90% at 25℃. Special measures shall be taken when condensation occurs due to occasional temperature change.                  

◆ Installation condition 

◇ Ensure, there is no distinct shake and impact at the installation site, which should be away from any invasion of rain or snow. Its upper terminal should be connected with mains side, while the lower terminal with load side. Besides, the mounting tilt angle against vertical surface should be less than 5°.
◇ Installation class:  Class III  
◇ Pollution degree: Class III.
◇ The foreign field value of the mounting location (in all directions) should no more five times than that of geomagnetic field.

★ Instantaneous over-current tripper setting current
☆for power distribution, the current setting value is 10In, for motor protection, the setting value is 12In,the accuracy rating is ±20%。

Structure and Operating Principle

DZ15LE MCCB with leakage protection mainly consists of zero sequence current transformer, electronic leakage tripper and circuit breaker with overload & short circuit protection. All parts are assembled in a plastic enclosure.

When residual current occurs in lines, reaching to its rated tripping value, secondary winding coil of zero sequence current transformer will output a signal, which will drive the leakage tripper operating and cut off the power supply. So it can provide protection against leakage current and electrical shock.
Hydraulic tripper will complete delay or instantaneous tripping operation to cut off power supply and provide protection for lines and electrical equipment against overload and short circuit.
